Bellevue; a First Impression
Dad decided it was time to upgrade his brand image. One step along this path was to get a new image for his Linked-in. He decided to go with something more executive than his long time image of sunglasses and safety vest. So he made an appointment with a photography studio in Bellevue, and ditched the safety vest.
Mongo Polices his Park
Mongo is a good canine citizen. His walkers always make an effort to pick up his leavings. And he often helps police the area by picking up things like tasty food wrappers left behind by other visitors. One thing he is really good at finding is birds, dead or alive.
The Neighborhood Bandit
There is a bandit who lives in Mongo’s neighborhood. He wears a mask, and in the best traditions of bandits, is missing a limb.
Even with the handicap, the bandit is very nimble. Dad has seen him scale fences and climb trees.
Downtown Seattle in Spring
Dad found himself in downtown Seattle again on a beautiful spring day. Seattle is a great city for urban safaris. There are lots of little shops and restaurants to discover, and unique people watching and sightseeing opportunities to enjoy.
As he turned off First Avenue, Dad was thrilled to see a parking spot. As he backed into the parking spot he saw a sign for a restaurant in his rear view mirror. It was lunch and Dad thought, “Why not?”
Mongo’s Nachos
There is no doubt in the family that Mongo’s driving force in life is food. However, they all agreed that life would be much simpler if Mongo constrained himself to eating edibles.
Today, when Drew and Dad came home from their Seattle pizza adventure, they found a big pile of trash in the driveway. On closer examination, the trash turned out to be chewed up chemical hand-warmers and empty throat lozenge packaging. Read More…
